Raw data from anthropometric study Shapiro conducted of peoples of many islands of Polynesia. Data consists of measurement cards, tabulation sheets and graphs; notes taken from ships' logs describing physical characteristics of islands of the South Pacific as well as notes of historic interest; bibliographic references providing brief summary of conclusion of scientists' work as it relates to anthropometric studies; manuscripts of Shapiro's investigations based on these field studies and data. Shapiro's study of the Japanese and Hawaiians represented by correlation tables, measurements and observations, worksheets, data cards from the field, and statistical analysis sheets.
